Overview of Click Performance Reports
Have you ever sent an email that contained multiple links, and wanted to know more than just who opened your email? Kevy offers Click Performance Reports to solve this problem. You can see a breakdown of total clicks and unique clicks for each link contained in the email, as shown below:
Unsubscribe and Email Preference Center links are not included in this report and will not display link activity or click data. If there are any duplicate links in the email (for example, if you include a link to your company website twice), Kevy will show the same click statistics for both links. Since the links are identical, Kevy can not determine which of the links the user actually clicked. If you’d like resolution at that level, you will need to append some sort of tracking information to your duplicate links.
If some of your links are not being tracked, check to make sure the URL begin with http:// or https://. We can only track clicks on links that begin with http:// or https://. To ensure your links are tracked, verify that you're using absolute paths throughout your campaign.
There may also be problems if the links have syntax errors or typos. A small error can turn your URL into a broken link.
Finally, if your report shows unusually high clicks, it is possible that a spam filter may be clicking your links. Some aggressive spam filters click links in emails to check for malicious activity before they’ll deliver them to the recipients. Unfortunately, there’s no way for us to see if a link has been clicked by a spam filter or your intended recipient, but if you see an unusually high number of clicks from a single domain, it’s likely to be a spam filter.
